Ava may collect account details, cycle dates, symptoms, moods, medication logs, pregnancy tracking entries, journal content, partner-sharing preferences, community activity, and support messages you choose to provide.

If you enable Apple Health permissions, Ava may read or write only the health categories you approve, such as menstrual cycle data, sleep, heart rate, or related wellness signals.

We use your information to provide cycle predictions, reminders, insights, companion context, pregnancy tools, community features, subscriptions, account support, safety protections, and product improvements.

Ava is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or emergency advice. Insights are informational and should not replace a qualified healthcare professional.

When you use the AI Companion, relevant context from your cycle and wellness history may be used to generate a more personalized response. AI responses may be processed by model providers such as Anthropic.

Do not use the companion for emergencies. If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

We use trusted providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, notifications, payments, AI processing, and customer support. These providers are only allowed to process information needed to provide their services.

We do not sell your personal health information. We never use your health data — including any data read from Apple Health (HealthKit) — for advertising, marketing, or data-mining, and we never share or sell it to third parties for those purposes. Data obtained through Apple Health is used only to power the in-app features you enable and is never disclosed to third parties without your consent.

Anonymous community posts may be visible to other users according to the community experience inside the app.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active so Ava can provide its features. When you delete content in the app or request account deletion, we permanently remove your associated personal and health data from our systems, except for limited records we are legally required to retain. You can revoke Apple Health access at any time in iOS Settings, which stops any further reading or writing of that data.

You can update logged information, adjust permissions, export certain data, delete content where supported, revoke Apple Health access in iOS Settings, or request account deletion from inside the app.
